THE QUIDDITY OF HINDUISM
Dharma of Hindus is called Sanatana. It can mean either that their Dharma is of Sanatana nature or that it protects man by making him conscious of his sanatana nature.

The Other Solution....
Please read "The Solution" before reading this post

.......n there are people who literally live in the stage of denial;convincing themselves(and trying to convince others) that India is "shining".They forge their opinions based on one moronic fact that the US has achieved its stage of development after 300 years of independence as compared to India's 60 years. They do not understand the technological and political advantage that we had when we became an independent nation. The US did not share the same united feeling that our people felt when India became independent. The fight for the annexation of different states(In the 19th century, the United States acquired land from France, Spain, the United Kingdom, Mexico, and Russia, and annexed the Republic of Texas and the Republic of Hawaii. Disputes between the agrarian South and industrial North over states' rights and the expansion of the institution of slavery provoked the American Civil War of the 1860s)and different cultures and the acceptance of people following various denominations of Christianity(Roman Catholicism, the Orthodox church,Protestantism,Anglican,Baptists,Methodists,Calvinists, etc) could have divided the States "after" independence. They do not realize that the British gifted us an important advantage in terms of world economy by pegging the Indian Rupee to the British pound.
My solution:
Problem_1:I feel that the value of Independence in our country is underrated.People(in general-not majority/minority or any specific data-don't grind me on this)these days do not feel a sense of uniqueness nor do they pride themselves in being Indian.I have met Indians who have a sense of insecurity in admitting that they speak Hindi/respective mother tongue fluently;but they would be more than happy to boast about their minimalistic European linguistic skills. Its like some kind of social status fad-'Indian-parochialist!Western-sophisticated'.
This problem can be solved by enacting the history of Indian Independence rather than dancing on Bollywood music during the social gathering events in our schooling years. And I do want the school(s) to focus not only in Gandhi's role but also in the sacrifices that others have made so that we can proudly wave our flag in the international confederacy today.I feel pathetic that freedom fighters' like Bhagat Singh,Sukhdev,Subash Chandra Bose do not deserve to be printed in the Indian Rupee notes;people who gave their lives for this damn country of ours.
On a side-note,I like that the US flag waves in every financial/educational institution in the country. In fact,I adore when I see the flag waving over the graves or in front of houses. These practices stimulate a sense of unconditional patriotism towards one's country.
Most of the educational institutions in India do have a pole to wave our flag;but my question is why the "f" is it only restricted to 15th August or 26th Jan?
I feel that it is easy to take liberty for granted, when you have never had it taken from you which brings me to my next point...
Problem_2:As good as its diverse history,India also has a magnetic colnial history to the point that I feel the word India should be synonymous with the word colonization.Until the 17th century ,we were colonised by the Persians followed by the French,Potuguese,Dutch,Danish,British and eventually Indians.Yes you heard it right-our own people have colonised us and the beautiful thing about them is that we are so ignorant about it, we have learnt to live with it. I feel that a united India should fight against the current government system. We need to overthrow the govt in order to establish stability. An Indian civil war is a must. There is no other solution. The young people in our political system are like pawns who follow their corrupt retired father’s decision. The right to the freedom of speech is shakled by the web of corruption.News reporters are afraid to report “real” news, controversial documentaries/movies are banned by the government. What kind of poverty is it that does not seem to attenuate even after billions of dollars of financial aid is received;not to mention the support that other countries are willing to provide.WE NEED A REVOLUTION.WE NEED TO REWRITE HISTORY.WE NEED LIBERTY.AND WE HAVE TO FIGHT FOR IT.We cannot fight these corrupt bastards any other way. They redefine the word-‘shameful’.In India, money talks and when money talks;people listen. We cannot fight the Indian govt. by any other means as they have their balls dipped in gold(over $5000 crores[$1.07billion] of black money extracted from some low life minister!!!!).I believe if we trace all the black money from all the 795 ministers and bring them back to India then we will have enough money to eradicate poverty and develop India and we can also eradicate the $13 trillion US debt and increase the GDP of at least 10 poorest nations of the world. This statement was not a joke!
Lemme conclude with the following thought:
In the words of Thomas Paine(one of the founding fathers of US)-"Those who expect to reap the blessings of freedom, must, like men, undergo the fatigue of supporting it."
*These are my opinions. They are not targeted towards any caste, creed, religion, ethnicity.I am not forcing anyone to do anything. It's just a matter of thought.I am a proud Indian and I love India. But I believe that dissension is the highest form of patriotism.Peace \/

The British gave a similar opportunity to the then independent countries like Malaysia,Taiwan,Singapore,HongKong, etc and we all know how these countries took that opportunity and cemented their ever growing economy.4.7619 1950
